It is the project coordinated by Bundesverband Theaterpädagogik e.V and is meant to create artistic and creative responses on anti-democratic influences in European societies. The next workshop in the Theater Makes Politics project will be held in Lesbos, Greece, from 26 September to 2 October 2023. The partners will present and test the four Theater Makes Politics training workshops and the material developed by the four working groups. The first research workshop for Theatre Makes Politics (TMP) will take place in Paris – Montreuil in September 2022, from the 20th to the 22nd. 3 other workshops follow in Greece (October), Portugal (November) and North Macedonia (January). Then, the project activities develop until 2024. Based on theatre practices, TMP wants to propose a creative response addressing religious extremism, populism, racism and conspiracy theories in Europe.
