2084 – Open call – Performing arts residency in Paris, France
Who: Ladder Art Company (Hungary), La Transplanisphere (France) and HYBADU (Poland) hire performing artists for “The 2084 Project”.
What: Four-week-long intensive artistic residency (3 Feb/2 Mar -2025, Paris) during which the project’s artistic team will collaborate with artists based in France to create the “2084” theatre performance. All the creative work will focus on climate change, sustainability, and environmental consciousness. The residency will result in the showcase of the theatre performance in Paris.
Who are we looking for: performers specializing in physical and movement-based theatre
Minimal requirements for all participants: an understanding of English is necessary + availability for the whole duration of the workshop, rehearsals, and presentation event

Note on the 2084 project
Climate change is a global issue that transcends individual, regional, cultural and national boundaries. The 2084 project aims to harness the transformative power of the arts to stimulate societal change by envisioning Europe in 2084, radically affected by climate change and its associated threats. The 2084 project aims to foster sustainable creation through an international collaboration involving partners from Hungary, France and Poland. Our main aim is to lay the foundations for sustainable performing arts, focusing on the creation of productions, with climate change as their subject, that are environmentally friendly and can serve as a model for future creators committed to sustainability,
