Nuit Blanche 2021 (Art night) at the Schweitzer High School – Saturday 2 October

On Saturday 2 October, La Transplanisphère invites you to the Nuit Blanche (Art Night) 2021 at the Lycée Albert Schweitzer, Le Raincy (93). For one night, we invite you to take an immersive journey in the heart of the school’s park. You will discover 4 hybrid and interactive artworks mixing art, digital, music and dreams.

As part of the 20th edition of this famous artistic event organised each year by the Paris City Council, Transplanisphère is offering for the first time a Nuit Blanche at the Albert Schweitzer High School, in Le Raincy (93). In artistic residency for 3 years in the high school and in partnership with the SAS (Sciences-Art-Society), the company invites you to discover interactive and immersive artworks created with the students.

Practical information

Concert under the Moon

The Schweitzer high school music classes are back on stage.

Under the direction of Stéphane Dietrich, more than 80 student musicians and singers will perform on stage for a large open-air concert. In solo, duo or group, the young people will perform revisited classics and original compositions. Rap, Rock, Piano-voice or Ukulele, there will be something for every taste.

Come and enjoy this musical and festive moment, open to all!

The Unknown of the Sun

A digital installation created by Ikse Maître – des Vues de l’esprit, as part of SAS (Sciences-Art-Society).

Another look, that of our star, will shine tonight in the extreme ultraviolet.

The Unknown of the Sun is a twofold curiosity. It sees us. It looks for the invisible. It supports the constant dynamics of both the sight and the Sun. It searches for light, which carries interaction, extreme ultraviolet light, X rays, which serenely bursts out of the star and which we do not see. Like from the back of an eye, this light brings to the surface the inside that we cannot capture just by looking.
Combining science, technology, imagination and dreams, this large suspended sphere interacts with the public and reveals the invisible, to make you discover the intense activity of the sun.

Our 20's

A theatrical performance by students directed by Bruno Freyssinet, as part of the Oratio Mix project.

Students’ voices reach us in the night and bear witness to our times. Whatsapp voices or snatches of conversations: these words make our 20s resound from the perspective of the young generation which in turn is experiencing its ‘Roaring Twenties’. What traces, what hopes? The park of the high school offers a perfect setting for these sensitive confessions in crossed narratives.

Les Chemins du Rêve

An interactive audiowalk composed of 4 sound fictions geolocated in Le Raincy, created by students of the high school with Noémie Laurens Besace, as part of the europefiction project.

While the world is being turned upside down by several crises, the young generation of the europefiction project has decided to take matters into their own hands and write the foundations of our new and changing societies! Because dreaming is already creating, they have taken the city of Le Raincy, in Seine-Saint-Denis, as a backdrop to draw the mythology of our modern world, inspired by fairy tales and fantasy worlds. Follow them on Les Chemins du Rêve, let yourselves be carried away by their stories and discover the world that the young generation is proposing for tomorrow!”

Come with your smartphone, download the app and let yourself be guided on a sound and musical journey to discover Le Raincy as you have never seen it before.
