We are glad to welcome Máté Tenke in Paris, a freelance project manager and facilitator for sustainable cultural projects and workshops. Máté was previously a project manager and the head of the Sustainability Team at Pro Progressione, a facilitator at various conferences as the coordinator of the Environmental Working Group at IETM and a co-founder of Creative Degrowth Network Scotland. La Transplanisphère heads to Brussels again! This time, Bruno Freyssinet, the artistic director of the company, took part in the seminar organised by François Forêt: “Narrating Europe” at the Université libre de Bruxelles, funded by Erasmus+.The event brought together different stories about how Europe is coming together, including politics, ideas and art. Thanks to the invitation from Ile de France Europe (representative of Ile de France to the EU), the La Transplanisphère team traveled to Brussels to present and share its projects. It was a day filled with meetings where our artistic director, Bruno Freyssinet, had the chance to introduce two projects : Oratio Mix and O_live that epitomize the company’s European work in theater education. GRESYS – Green Stories from Youth to Stage is a dynamic European initiative uniting young talents from Italy (Palermo) and France (Paris). Participants encompass aspiring actors undergoing professional training and secondary school students alike.The aim is to raise their awareness of the goals of the 2030 Agenda (UN, Green Deal) by questioning their relationship to the challenges of the ecological transition through theatre. Theater Makes Politics is the project coordinated by Bundesverband Theaterpädagogik e.V and is meant to create artistic and creative responses on anti-democratic influences in European societies. Last week, our partners, Cergy University, hosted the international conference “Gestes, rythmes et mouvements du commun” during which the last round of Creative Commune took place. On Friday, all The Creative Commune partners gathered in Médiathèque du patrimoine et de la photographie, to make a final point and show each one’s outcomes thanks to the project.
